Congratulations on your academic achievements! You have joined a distinguished group of scholars that represent the best our community has to offer. LAEF strives to be a resource for you in every step of the education process.
In August, over 200 students and their families came together in celebration of their hardwork. They enjoyed an evening of hot dogs and hamburgers with their families, the LAEF Board and Corporate Sponsors, as they were honored for their great accomplishments. Following the reception the families were treated to a Colorado Rapids game, were they were recognized during pre-game events. Families were able to watch proudly from the stands, as the students took to the center of the field and were applauded for their relentless pursuit of the college dreams. Many students talked about how this was their first time at a professional sporting event, and felt so honored to be able to step on the field in front of their familes. The most special part of the evening was giving the students and opportunity to personally thank all of the great corporate sponsors, who made their scholarships a reality. LAEF was also honored as a part of the Rapids Hispanic Heritage Night. We are so proud of you!
